♦  Especially useful in coughing due alleviated Pitta Dosha. Reduces the stickiness of Kapha thereby acting as expectorant.

♦  In sinusitis associated with headache, dry cough, heaviness, loss of taste and lethargy, works very well. Helpful in Pittaj Jwar (febrile condition due to alleviated Pitta Dosha), Urdhwag Raktapitta (bloody discharge through mouth, nose, ear or eyes), Being an excellent Pittashamak, reduces symptoms of alleviated Pitta Dosha, thereby reducing burning sensation in Hands and feet.
